We were honored to welcome our Malaysian client, Mr. Azlan, and his engineering team to Rich Packing’s manufacturing factory this week for a thorough inspection of his newly ordered 8C Counting Line. The visit marked a crucial milestone in the business collaboration between our companies, and also demonstrated the mutual commitment to product quality and operational excellence.
Introducing the 8C Counting Line: A Fully Automated Bottling Solution
The inspected 8C counting line is a fully automated solution designed for efficient supplement bottling production. The full line includes the following components:
• Bottle Unscrambler: Automatically arranges and feeds bottles onto the conveyor belt, reducing labor and maintaining consistent upstream supply.
• 8C Counting Machine: Equipped with dust-resistant photoelectric sensors and vibration channels, it accurately counts tablets and capsules and fills them into bottles. This model is highly reliable for various supplement formats.
• Desiccant Inserter: Automatically places desiccant into bottles to preserve the product’s shelf life and prevent moisture damage.
• Capping Machine: Precisely tightens caps at controlled torque, ensuring consistent sealing for consumer safety and product integrity.
• Induction Sealer: Uses electromagnetic induction to seal bottle mouths with foil, providing tamper-evidence and protection during transit.
• Labeling Machine: Applies labels with high precision on bottles, equipped with adjustable settings to meet diverse bottle and label sizes.
• Bottle Collection Table: Collects finished products at the end of the line, making them easy for packaging and quality inspection.
Pre-Visit Preparation: Customized Testing & Configuration
To guarantee optimal performance, Mr. Azlan provided product samples in advance to ensure the compatibility and accuracy of the 8C counting line. Rich Packing’s engineers had made some preparation such as:
• Configured the 8C Counting Machine’s parameters for the clients specific supplements.
• Saved customized settings in the PLC system for quick startup at the client’s facility.
During the visit, Mr. Azlan’s engineer actively participated in the configuration process, with the training of our engineers. Apart from the 8C counting machine, he focused particularly on the labeling machine's operation which a lot of people may neglect. He tested the machine using various bottle sizes and different label sticker specifications to ensure compatibility with their product range, learning how to adjust its position and troubleshoot common issues such as:
• Bottle not feeding properly: Often due to accidental activation of the emergency stop, conveyor switch being off, or the bottle-separating switch not enabled.
The on-site inspection, which lasted for over a day, allowed Mr. Azlan and his team to observe every detail of the machine operation and ask in-depth questions to our engineers. He expressed full satisfaction with the final performance of the 8C counting line. The entire line was scheduled to be packed and shipped by the end of this week after the inspection.
For the client, this inspection was a key step to ensure a smooth launch of the new production line back in Malaysia, which reinforced his confidence in Rich Packing’s technology and after-sales service.
For Rich Packing, this visit was not only a validation of our equipment’s reliability but also a valuable opportunity to build stronger partnerships through face-to-face technical exchange and transparency. We sincerely thank Mr. Azlan and his team for their trust and professionalism, and we look forward to supporting the expansion of his supplement production business in the Malaysian market.
